About Ray Rivers

Ray Rivers has released his second CD in two years. Titled Weather Makers All, this CD was inspired by noted Australian scientist Tim Flannery’s best selling book about global climate change.

Ray has spent much of his life working on environmental causes and the themes of many of his songs reflect that background. Songs such as “Goodbye Polar Bear” were written in the hope that communication through music stimulates change, as it did in the 1960’s.

This latest CD from Ray Rivers reflects Ray's transition from protest folk into the blues, with songs like 'Mingle Music Blues'. Fans have compared Ray's inimitable vocal stylings to artists ranging from Roger Whittaker to Bob Dylan.
